The Center for Environmental Science and Sustainability is a new Specialty Center program based out of Varina High School. Varina is a unique area plagued with greenery, serving as the perfect location to conduct environmental studies. Additionally, the center is located just miles away from the James River. The James River contains diverse species, presenting endless opportunities for research and study.
