About Mrs. Sharpe

Hi, I am Mrs. Sharpe!

Teaching for me started when I was a child volunteering in my mother’s classroom right here in Virginia. For college, I graduated with a Management Degree from Virginia Tech. This degree led me to Four Seasons Hotel in Washington, DC working as a manager. When my husband and I moved to California in 2007, I decided to take a break from being a hotel manager and went to school at San Jose State University for my Teaching Credential. Over the past 11 years, I have had the honor of practicing my life's passion by teaching in both elementary and middle schools.

I love spending time with my family and is another reason why my husband and I moved back to Virginia with our two girls, Myla (5) and Adelaide (1). All of us love playing in our yard and cooking dinner together especially when family visits. My family and I also love playing with our new, adopted cat. Quinn is chill, which is so nice with two active, little ones. When I do get free time, you can find me out for a run.

I am looking forward to being here at Colonial Trail and making this a great year in 5th grade!
