As middle school educators, we all care deeply about moving from surface learning towards deeper learning experiences for our students. Join us at the Middle School Transformation Summit on Monday, June 19th 2017, and be fully immersed in the four pillars of the new Learner-Centric Model for Deeper Learning. The day starts with our inspiring keynote speaker, Adolf Brown, and then breaks out to sessions, a food truck lunch and team reflection.

Goal:
To introduce the Learner-Centric model and provide engaging, relevant learning experiences that support a core group of instructional influencers across 12 middle schools and their ability to meet the needs of the adolescent learners.
Outcomes:
- Developed an understanding of the Learner-Centric model
- Learn new strategies and best practices for meeting the needs of the adolescent learner (in connection with the Learner-Centric model)
- Opportunities to develop a lesson/unit of study that incorporates components of the Learner-Centric model
- Opportunity to provide feedback on the Learner-Centric model
