Classrooms lessons for kindergarten to 5th grade meet each week. These lessons address social/emotional, academic, and career development. We learn about subjects such as mindfulness, using a growth mindset, and showing kindness to ourselves and others!
Small groups for students based on student, parent, or teacher requests will be held throughout the year. These groups run 4-6 weeks and meet during lunch. Letters to parents will be sent home before students are able to participate.
Here are some examples of group topics: Friendship, Hocus Pocus Focus, Resiliency, Changing Families, Grief/loss, New Student, and Test Taking.
Short term individual counseling (6-8 weeks) is for students based on requests from students, parents, and/or teachers. Parent permission will be requested for multiple sessions and parent input and support is crucial.
