In order to be eligible for the Gifted Young Scholars Academy, rising 6th grade students need to meet the following criteria:

Student must be identified for gifted services in the area of General Intellectual Aptitude by the end of 4th grade*

Student must be in good academic standing, receiving an overall B average during their 4th & 5th  grade year*

There are 100 seats available in the Gifted Young Scholars Academy.  A lottery system will be utilized to select the students who will be offered a place in the program.  Students must meet all of the criteria above to be entered into the lottery.
