For just the second time in the history of Glen Allen High School, our students have qualified to participate in the National Finals of the We the People competition, a nationwide contest of knowledge about American government, history, and Constitutional Law. These students have worked countless hours to increase their understanding of our Constitutional democracy and are excited to compete against the strongest programs in the country.
Over three days of simulated Congressional hearings, the students will present research and answer questions that range from ancient philosophy to the importance of voting, from the Bill of Rights to contemporary Supreme Court cases, from Alexander Hamilton to Louis Brandeis. Please help make this possible by making a tax-deductible donation using the “Donate Now” button. It will take you to a secure Henrico County server where you can donate in any denomination you choose. For tax purposes, please remember to print or save your receipt.
We appreciate your support!
