Graduation Day (Thursday May 28th: 10:30 AM @ Henrico County Sports & Events Center)
Students need to arrive at Glen Allen through Door 11 at 8:30 AM.
ALL students MUST ride the bus to Graduation- NO EXCEPTIONS
Students- NO PHONES, wallets, purses, or car keys!- NO DISTRACTIONS!
Students need to have their gowns folded over one of their arms with their regalia visible on top for faculty to inspect, and holding their cap and tassel in their hand as they proceed through weapons scanning in Commons A.
Students will then proceed through Commons A & B out to their bus on the bus loop.
Bus numbers (1-11) will be assigned alphabetically and will be designated on the outside of students’ folders that they will receive on Tuesday, May 26th, after the 1st Graduation Practice.
Buses are going to LEAVE Glen Allen at 9 AM
Doors at the Henrico County Sports & Events Center will open at 9:30 AM to the public:
ALL Guests MUST have a ticket to enter, regardless of age.
HCPS will livestream graduation ceremonies on the school division website, henricoschools.us. Ceremonies will also be recorded and can be viewed later on the HCPS website or the school division’s cable channel in Henrico County. Find HCPS-TV on channel 99 for Comcast subscribers and channel 2138 for Verizon FiOS customers.
Guests will need to park in the yellow zones shown on the map below:
All families have 2 Parking Passes (NOTE- this is a change from previous communication that stated families had 1 parking pass).
