Sept. 28-29 - Work Keys Writing Test - Substitute test for the EOC Writing SOL - only for Seniors

Oct. 9 – 1/2 day for Students

Oct. 11 – PSAT – All students in GRADE 10 ( students from GRADE 11 can pay to test – Junior forms due to Counseling by Sept 14)

Oct. 23 & 24 – EOC Writing SOL for Juniors and Seniors still needing the SOL for Graduation

Nov. 7 – Election Day / Student Holiday

Nov. 14-15 – Work Keys Writing and TRIO Test(s) – Substitute test for the EOC Writing SOL (Seniors only) and the Trio is a set of substitute tests for CTE credential (Seniors only)

SOL REQUIREMENTS FOR STUDENTS IN VIRGINIA SCHOOLS (entering in 9th or 10th grade):

  • Standard Diploma – 6 Verified Credits (Reading, Writing, Math, Science, History, Choice)
  • Advanced Diploma – 9 Verified Credits (Reading, Writing, 2 Math, 2 Science, 2 History, Choice)

SOL COURSES: English 10 (Writing), English 11 (Reading), Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2, Earth Science, Biology, Chemistry, World History 1, World History 2, VA & US History, World Geography
