Online Enrollments & Registration

Online enrollment: Register online by clicking here. The Online Registration Portal will direct you to complete three forms:

It will take three to four days to process the online forms before you can make an appointment with the school registrar to complete the registration. Appointments are usually done in person, but registrars will try to accommodate parents and guardians with health concerns.

Once all forms are electronically completed, you will be contacted regarding scheduling an appointment to present documents and complete the enrollment process.

Parent/Legal Guardian must provide:

· current lease, deed or mortgage statement

· current utility bill

· valid photo id

· student’s original birth certificate

· complete immunizations

· custody paperwork if applicable.

IF you reside with someone else within the zone THEN you must complete an Address Affidavit EVERY SCHOOL YEAR. We must receive:

· the notarized form

· the homeowners: (3 documents)

· lease holder current lease/deed or mortgage statement

· utility bill

· photo ID

· the parent/legal guardians (2 documents with correct address)

For current student Address Changes:

The parent/legal guardian must complete the student information change form with the proper documentation: new lease, License/ID, Utility Bill

and Address affidavit (if applicable). Forms and documents can be emailed to the School Counseling Registrar

Enrollment Documentation

Before the enrollment process begins, Virginia Law specifies the parent or guardian must provide the following:

– Photo ID from the parent or guardian completing and signing the enrollment form (Driver’s License, DMV ID, Military ID)

Original Birth Certificate with RAISED seal or Birth Certificate Affidavit

– Proof of Residency (utility bill AND lease, deed, or contract)

– Unofficial transcripts or report cards from previous school; copy of withdrawal form for in-county transfers; and complete mailing address for former school

– Immunization Records showing complete dates for the following:

– Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR) (1st, 2nd shots)

– DPT (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th shots)

– OPV (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th shots)

– Hep B (1st, 2nd, 3rd shots)

If any of the above immunizations are lacking, contact the Henrico County Residents Health Center: West End Clinic- (804) 672-4671.

Unless there is a medical or religious exemption from immunization, proof should be submitted by a doctor’s verification, health clinic, military card, international health card, or school record. (Refer to Code of Virginia 221.2 & Henrico County Code 6-03-002, III)

Students who attended school OUTSIDE the United States

Any student who last attended school outside of the United States is required to enroll in Henrico County Schools through our Welcome Center.
