Why do I need a transcript?
From applying to post-secondary schools, the military, or trying to get a certain job after graduation, you will need to send a transcript to prove your graduation from a secondary school. You may also want to check GPA updates at the semester and end of year, or see what courses you have taken and what grades you have received. Your transcript includes all of this information!
Henrico County Public Schools is now offering a secure site for students to order credentials that can be sent to many colleges and universities. In addition, third party vendors such as employment agencies and military branches may request credentials.
Per District policy and the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) student records are only available to those who have authorization from the student or parent, guardian or responsible person if the student is less than 18 years of age. If the student is 18 years of age or older, school records will not be released to a parent, guardian, or responsible person without the student’s written consent.
*Current Students: All Henrico County Public School students are encouraged to create a Parchment account to gain access to their transcript. The Academy at Virginia Randolph provides students a unique code to set up their Parchment account. Unique codes are sent each year to students who do not have a Parchment account already created. Please do not try to register for a Parchment account without your unique code, as this will delay the process in setting up your account.
