A little about Mrs. Bland:

Hello!! I am super excited about this upcoming school year, even though it's way different than previous years. This is my 7th year teaching fifth grade. I went to VCU for undergrad and grad school. I am currently enrolled in Longwood to get my leadership endorsement for administration. I am married and have a 3 year old dog, Tycho, who I am obsessed with. I cannot wait to learn more about each of you!

A little about Mrs. Wertz:

Hi everyone! I am so excited to meet you all. This is my 5th year teaching and my 3rd year teaching 5th Grade at Varina. I went to Longwood University and am currently going back to school at UVa to get my masters as a reading specialist. I'm married and have a 1 and a half year old daughter named Ainsley, and a sweet dog named Callie. Can't wait to work with you all this year!
