Hello there!

I'm Erin Knight, M.A., S.S.P., CTP-C, school psychologist serving Baker Elementary School. I received my Bachelors of Science with a major in Psychology and minor in Family Studies from Wingate University in 2014. I then attended Appalachian State University where I received my Masters and Specialist degrees in School Psychology in 2017. I began my career as a school psychologist with HCPS in 2017. At that time, I obtained my Clinical Trauma Practitioner certification, which I maintain through yearly professional development. I have thoroughly enjoyed the past four years in this profession and in HCPS. My professional interests include social emotional learning, positive behavioral interventions and supports, restorative practices, and trauma-informed practices. When I'm not working, my hobbies include gardening, home "DIY" projects, and hiking.
