Dear Senior Families,
We hope the school year is off to a great start for you and your student! We are reaching out with an important update: Senior Parent Night has been rescheduled to Wednesday, September 23, at 6:00 PM in Freeman High School's Auditorium.
We know senior year comes with a lot of moving parts, and we want to support your family every step of the way. During Senior Parent Night, we will walk you through everything you need to know for the upcoming year, including:
Steps for applying to 2-year and 4-year schools, managing deadlines, and navigating SchooLinks for transcripts and recommendations.
Insights on completing the FAFSA, applying for scholarships, and leveraging local resources like GRASP financial aid advising.
Key details on senior exam exemptions, convocation, college visit policies, and senior ads.
Updates from our administration, school counseling team, and PTSA regarding senior traditions and graduation events.
If you are unable to attend in person, please note that the session will be recorded and shared at a later date so you won't miss any of the information.
School Counseling Update:
We are already hard at work helping your senior prep for their next steps. During the second week of school, school counselors visited government classrooms to provide students with a walkthrough of the college application process and post-secondary planning. Additionally, our school counselors have begun individual meetings with seniors on their caseloads. These personalized check-ins will continue through next week to ensure every student is on track for graduation and feeling confident about their plans.
We hope to see you on Wednesday, September 23!
