Good morning Tiger families! It's Ms. Wishon with your weekly senior update! This email will only have information for this week's upcoming events:
- 5/22 and 5/23 are REGULAR schedule academic school days for seniors.
Wednesday May 24th
- MANDATORY graduation practice day for seniors. All seniors will report to their 1st period class and at 9:30 will be called down to the gym for graduation practice. We will run through this practice twice where each senior's name will be practiced twice. Students DO NOT need caps and gowns for this practice.
- Senior Laptop collection will be completed after the practice. All seniors MUST turn in their laptops to be issued graduation tickets. Chargers must be submitted as well. If the charger turned in, does not match the charger assigned to the student, a fee will be added to the senior's account.
- Tassels will be distributed at this practice as well. In order for tassels to be received, seniors MUST have completed the senior survey which was done through Government classes. Students can complete this through Major Clarity which can be found through Clever. It contains 4 questions about post-graduation plans. We have 250 seniors who still need to complete this survey! - Yearbooks will be distributed after laptop collection and seniors will have time to sign each other's yearbooks.
Thursday May 25th
- Seniors report to the auditorium by 9:30. Seniors do not report to classes on this day. This is a MANDATORY attendance day for seniors.
- Seniors MUST bring their caps, tassels, and gowns and be in formal dress code: dress pants, collared shirt, dress, skirt. No tennis shoes, slides or jeans allowed. CAPS CAN NOT BE DECORATED.
- We will have students line up in graduation line up at 9:30.
- The senior honors assembly will begin at 10:30. Parents are invited and those students who are being recognized have received calls home. Parents/guests can park in the bus ramp or in the front parking lot and will enter through the bus ramp doors.
- The Senior Class of 2023 picture will be taken after seniors process out from the senior honors assembly and the senior picnic will immediately follow.
Other Important Information
- Seniors MUST be on time for all events and classes!
- Caps CAN NOT be decorated. Decorated caps will be confiscated and a new cap will be distributed.
- Senior exams will be held May 30th - June 2nd. The exam schedule is as follows: May 30th- 2nd and 4th; May 31st- 5th and 7th- THIS IS A CHANGE;June 1st- 6th and 8th; June 2nd- 1st and 3rd. Senior who are exam exempt DO NOT need to report to school this week and attendance will be coded EE- Exam exempt.
- 1 extra parking pass per student can be purchased in the main office for $7 cash through June 2nd at 12.
- Each senior will receive 9 graduation tickets and 1 parking pass.
- A MANDATORY graduation practice will be held on June 6th at 3:30. Graduation tickets will be distributed following this practice.

Good afternoon! Here is the presentation from today's senior meeting. There is a lot of information in the presentation that you MUST know for graduation and all upcoming activities so please read through all!
Each student will be issued 9 graduation tickets and 1 parking pass.

Good morning Tiger families! This is Ms. Wishon with senior updates and information for the upcoming week and beyond. All of this information will be posted on the senior website as well!
- This Wednesday, April 26th- Seniors who would like to participate in the elementary/middle school feeder walk MUST sign up by this Monday, April 22nd. The sign up can be found at this link: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/70a0c44a8aa238-senior1?scrlybrkr=eb164ec5#/. Students should use their school email account and choose the feeder school trip they would like to attend. Buses will leave Tucker at 9:15 so all seniors MUST be in the auditorium by 9 AM. Seniors will wear their caps and gowns and should be dressed in business casual clothing underneath the cap and gowns. We will be walking through schools with students lining the hallways, so high heels are not suggested. Once feeder walks are finished, seniors will return to Tucker where they will finish out a normal school day. Seniors who do not attend the feeder walks must attend school as normal.
- There are still spots available for the senior trip on May 19th to Hershey Park. Seniors can sign up at this link: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1O02RVO94PtLNPRrkFZrVHTcdy99tDySIcf3b_pM7n3w/edit . Seniors must sign up by this Friday and all money must be paid by Monday May 1st to attend the trip. That includes payment for any meal plans that need to be purchased at those must be bought BEFORE we arrive. Payments can be made to Ms. Wishon all this week.
- On May 5th, there will be a senior meeting where students will learn how many graduation tickets they will be receiving, parking passes, graduation expectations, etc. We will also discuss upcoming senior events and any end-of-the-year processes they need to be aware of.
- During the week of May 5th, all seniors will be asked to complete a survey about their post-graduate plans. It is a 4 question survey that they will complete through their Government class.
- All of this information can be found on the senior website, http://bit.ly/2023tigers . Exam exemption policies and upcoming dates can also be found on the senior website page under the documents tab.
- As a reminder, outstanding student balances MUST be paid before graduation tickets will be distributed. Please reach out to Ms. Wishon if you have any questions or concerns.
Finally, May 25th is our last academic day for seniors! The days are passing quickly! Please remind your seniors to stay on top of their work and to attend school! I know this time of year is hard for all students , especially seniors, but they only have 5 more weeks left!!!

Prom tickets will go on sale THIS WEDNESDAY, April 12th during all lunches. The theme is Enchanted Gardens and will be held at the Cultural Arts Center from 8-11. All Tucker students attending must be in good standing and a completed guest form must be submitted at time of purchase if a guest will be attending with a Tucker student. Ticket price is $50.
Seniors will have the opportunity to visit Tucker feeder schools on April 26th. Seniors can sign up here for ONE bus trip. There are only 100 seats available for each trip and it is first come, first serve. In order for seniors to attend this fieldtrip once signed up, parents/guardians MUST sign a parent permission slip form located in PowerSchool. Here are the directions to locate the form in PowerSchool.
ACTION REQUIRED for all Parents/Caregivers of Seniors: We need all parents/caregivers to sign-in to PowerSchool, Click on Forms in the menu, and complete the Field Trip Form SPECIFIC to this event titled "HCPS Senior Walk."
There are still seats available for the senior trip to Hershey Park on May 19th. The link to reserve your spot is here. The trip is first come, first serve. All money must be submitted by May 1st.
Important upcoming senior dates are attached. There has been one change to the mailing that went home. A graduation practice will now be held on May 24th instead of May 25th.

Here are some senior updates:
Our senior trip will be on May 19th to Hershey Park in Hershey, PA. Due to price changes in admission to Hershey Park this year, the $115 mentioned previously will now ONLY cover park admission and the charter bus. The accompanying Google form asks for information we will need for the trip AND food options. There is no outside food allowed in. Once you have made your food selections through the Google form, you can begin making payments or pay in full either online (there is a fee to pay online) or with cash/check/money order to Ms. Wishon. To pay online, you would go to the online receipting program and search for Hershey Park Senior Trip. All payments must be made by May 1st and we only have 100 seats available. Please see Ms. Wishon if you have any questions!

Our senior dates have changed slightly. Please see the attached flyer that includes all exam exemption policies.
Prom will be held April 22nd. All attendee and guests MUST be in good standing. Please speak with your seniors about maintaining their grades and attending class. A full explanation of good standing can be found here.

-Our senior breakfast will be held on Monday, November 21st. We will be having Chic-Fil-A and a hot chocolate bar. Seniors will report to their first period class for attendance and will be called down at 9:10 to enjoy breakfast with their classmates. The cost of breakfast is included in the senior fee.
- Please have your senior complete the t-shirt size document using the Henrico email account so we can place our senior t-shirt order. We are planning for distribution before Winter Break. We will place the order Monday, so all submissions must be in by Sunday night! If we don't receive your senior's size, we will have to guess!

10/12/22- Convocation Day- Important Information
Please wear your gowns tomorrow with formal attire (dress, skirt, dress pants).
Arrive by 9:45.
Park in the student lot and enter through the bus ramp doors.
Report to the big gym.
Ceremony begins at 10:30. Parents are invited.
You will line up, process in and process out at the end of the ceremony. Please make sure all cell phones are away during our speakers.
Once convocation ends, you can leave for the day. If you attend tech, your parent will need to notify your tech center.

onvocation
Oct 11- We will have a senior convocation practice on this day during 1st period. All seniors will report to their 1st period class and at 9:15, all seniors should be sent to the bus ramp Commons (closest to the auditorium. At this time, we will get them in formation for the following day so they are aware of expectations. Students will return to class by 9:55. If you teach a senior class at this time, please escort your class to the Commons. Students will NOT need to bring their belongings UNLESS they go to tech on that day.
Oct 12- CONVOCATION- the big day! Convocation will begin at 10:30. Seniors will report to Tucker at 9:45 and report to the big gym. They must wear their gown and formal attire. Parents are invited and will park in the bus ramp. If a senior uses the bus to arrive to school, they will be able to sit in the big gym. Convocation is mandatory and all seniors should be in attendance. I will continue to hand out caps and gowns during all lunches. The senior fee must be paid prior to receiving caps and gowns. The ceremony is expected to last around an hour and a half and seniors will be dismissed from convocation. They will not attend school for the remainder of the day

Ms. Wishon has all remaining caps and gowns. In order to get a cap and gown, you must pay the senior fee. You need your cap and gown to participate in Convocation on October 12th. Please see Ms. Wishon if you have any questions.
If you would like to RETAKE your senior formal picture, please complete this Google form . Any senior who has not taken a senior formal picture has been scheduled on either October 6th or October 7th to retake. Passes will be delivered.
The senior cookout has been rescheduled for 11/4. Details will come as we know them!
9/22/2022
Caps and gowns will be distributed during all lunches on September 29th. The Class of 2023 fee MUST be paid prior to receiving a cap and gown. PLEASE PAY THE SENIOR FEE OF $60 PRIOR TO THIS DATE!!! Seniors will wear the gowns during our convocation program on October 12th.
Convocation will be held at 10:30 AM on October 12th. The event will be in person in the auditorium, and parents/guardians are invited. Seniors must report to school by 9 AM on the day on convocation. They should be wearing formal attire and their caps and gowns. Once the program has concluded, seniors will be dismissed for the remainder of the day. We will hold a convocation practice on October 11th.

We will be having a senior cookout before the Hermitage game on September 30th at 5:30 PM. Any senior is invited. If your senior plans to attend, please complete this Google form so we know how much food to purchase!

Hi Seniors! The parking application is live!! Please make sure you have completed the application, have a current driver's license and insurance as we are issuing passes the last week in September. Parking passes will be enforced the first week of October!! See Ms. Wishon if you have any questions!!

Senior Photo Update: If you took your senior photos on Aug 1st or 2nd, proofs will be sent to the email you provided at sign in. Any questions about your pictures should be directed to Strawbridge either through the customer service line (866) 624-6229 or through the chat feature at Strawbridge.net. The next opportunity to take a FORMAL senior picture is Oct 6th and 7th.

Senior Pictures: These will be held on August 1st and 2nd in the Auxiliary Gym. The flyer is attached and you must sign up for a slot. Go to Strawbridge.net and choose senior appointments in the top right corner. From the dropdown menu, choose Virginia seniors and then choose one of the options for Richmond-Tucker. Only Aug 1st is listed in the dropdown, but both Aug 1st and 2nd are listed on the scheduling page. A drape and/or tuxedo will be worn for this picture and will be provided by Strawbridge. Please call Strawbridge if you have any questions!
