Henning Hermes is the Deputy Director of the ifo Center for the Economics of Education at the ifo Institute Munich. He is also affiliated with the FAIR Center of Excellence at NHH Bergen, a DICE Research Affiliate at the Düsseldorf Institute for Competition Economics, an IZA Research Affiliate, a CEPR Research Affiliate, a CESifo Research Network Affiliate, and a network member at HCEO. His research focuses on behavioral and experimental economics, with a focus on topics such as labor, education, and the formation of noncognitive skills. He obtained degrees in Economics and Psychology from the University of Mainz, where he also completed his PhD under the supervision of Daniel Schunk and Ernst Fehr.
Professor Lergetporer completed his PhD in economics at the University of Innsbruck in 2014. From 2014 to 2021, he was a postdoctoral researcher at the ifo Center for the Economics of Education, ifo Institute Munich. During that time, he was also a visiting scholar at the University of Chicago, Stanford University, and NHH Bergen. In September 2021, he joined TUM School of Management, Campus Heilbronn, as Professor of Economics at the Global Center for Family Enterprise (GCFE).

Dr. Frauke Peter has been working at the German Centre for Higher Education Research and Science Studies (DZHW) since November 2019. She is the Deputy Head of the Department of "Educational Careers and Graduate Employment". Prior to this, she was a doctoral candidate and research associate at the Socio-Economic Panel (SOEP) at the German Institute for Economic Research (DIW Berlin) from 2008-2013 and a post-doctoral researcher in the Department of Education and Family at DIW Berlin from 2013-2019. She holds a Master's degree in Economics from Royal Holloway University of London and a Doctorate in Economics from the Free University of Berlin.
Simon Wiederhold is Professor for Labor Economics at the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg and the Halle Institute for Economic Research (IWH). Previously, he was Professor of Economics, especially Macroeconomics, at the Catholic University Eichstätt-Ingolstadt. He received his PhD from the University of Jena. His research interests include labour, education, innovation, and behavioural economics.
