Screening Process / Policy

Application Process:

Completely fill out prequalification on the RentRedi Tenant application/portal.
- Incomplete prequalification's will be sent back to be completed.
You will receive an email when the prequalification is approved to schedule a time to see the unit you are interested in.
After viewing the unit and deciding you are still interested you will completely fill out the full application on the RentRedi Tenant application/portal that includes credit, background, and eviction checks.
- Incomplete applications will not be reviewed and discarded immediately.

Four main Categories:

Income or Resources verification
- Gross monthly income 2-3x the monthly rent is required
- All sources of income will be reviewed
- For non earned income based resources your will be required to show verification
- Verification of earned income may be verified by contacting your current employer
- Length of employment: 6 months or less, two months for security deposit will be required.
Credit Score
- Credit Score no less than 600
- No Bankruptcy in the last five years
Background Check
- If not disclosed on application the application will be denied.
- No felony convictions.
- No violent or drug convictions in the last five years
- No registered sex offenders
Eviction Record
- No evictions

Co-Signer Policy:

Co-Signer must be a resident of Dubuque County, IA.
Co-Signer might be required for lack of rental history, lack of credit history or poor credit history, lack of stable employment, and/or lack of sufficient income.
