Welcome to 1st grade! My name is Mrs. Higgs and I will be your child's teacher this school year. I am all about a hands-on classroom and meeting students where they are. I believe in challenging students when appropriate but also providing supports needed for them to feel success. My goal is for everyone in my classroom to feel like they are important and that they are great readers, writers, and mathematicians!
