I have been a teacher with the Hendrick Hudson School District, as well as others throughout the state, for nearly fifteen years. Previously, I taught elementary general music, chorus, and orchestra in New York City, and middle school orchestra and high school AP music theory on Long Island. Though my main instrument is violin, I am also proficient on viola, cello, bass, piano, voice, ukulele, and organ.
I received a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education from the Hartt School of Music at the University of Hartford and a Master of Music degree in Music Education from the Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam.
I enjoy all the creative nuances involved in learning a string instrument and look forward to sharing that world with your 4th & 5th graders this year! Be sure to browse the tabs on this site for practice recordings, concert dates, and other information!
