Welcome to my Google Website! I am a school social worker placed in Frank G. Lindsey and BV Elementary Schools for the 2020-2021 school year. It's been an exciting year with a lot of unexpected twists and turns, but we've faced them together, with strength and resilience as a community. As a school social worker, I believe a central goal is to have students recognize their true, innate potential, develop their identity, acquire skills to navigate their challenges, achieve their goals (personal and academic), and begin to form a satisfying life and future despite any obstacles or adversities along the way. My role in the schools is to support the students' academic, social, and emotional success through counseling (group and individual), psychoeducation/skills training, crisis intervention, family support/involvement, collaboration with staff, and serving as a liaison to the community to access necessary resources.
