The T-W Choirs

C. Andrew Childs, Choir Director

Active as an educator, clinician, arranger, and adjudicator, Mr. Childs joined the faculties of Tri-West Middle and High Schools in Hendricks County, Indiana in 2018, where he currently serves as Choir Director and Chairperson of the Fine Arts Department.  Previously, he was Choir Director for 13 years at Decatur Central High School in Indianapolis.  Drew earned a Bachelor of Music degree from Taylor University and a Master of Music degree from Ball State University.

Drew has served as an instructor, section leader, and choir director for the Epworth Music and Worship Retreat, where he currently serves on the Board of Directors.  Drew also serves on the Board of the Indiana Choral Directors Association as the District V Representative.  He is a member of the American Choral Directors Association, the National Association for Music Education, and the Indiana Music Educators Association.

Drew is an active members of Tabernacle Presbyterian Church in Indianapolis, where he has served as an Elder and Chair of the Music, Worship, and Arts Committee.  Drew enjoys travel and spoiling his nephews.
