ENDORSEMENT REQUIREMENT
All candidates running for Student Council Grade-Level Representative MUST have a completed petition signed by 10 peers in their respective grade-level (ex: if running in 6th grade, only 6th graders can sign). The petition must also include signed endorsements from two teachers.
CODE OF CONDUCT
All candidates must sign (and have a parent/guardian) sign the Code of Conduct Policy and Contract to be an accepted onto the ballot. This is to ensure both student and parents understand the bylaws and qualities needed to be a strong Student Council Cabinet member.
NOTE: Even though these will be signed, it does NOT guarantee the student is on the Council. They must be elected by their peers for office.

The team orchestrates and implements each Color Wars and Spirit Week for the annual school year. This includes reviewing past years for popular ideas and creating new, original ones.
The team is responsible for creating the flyers through Google Slides of each spirit day and what criteria is needed for being awarded Class Cup points.
The team will conference with the Principal, Dean, Secretaries, and Student Council Advisors.
Each team member is required to present at least once during the year at a Student Council meeting.

The team reviews the points and demerits data of the school and what needs to be addressed moving forward. Rewards will also be directed through the team.
Bring ideas from student body to PAWS committee to drive positive school culture
The team conferences with the PAWS(pbis) committee when able, the Principal, Dean, and Student Council Advisors.
Each team member is required to present at least once during the year at a Student Council meeting.

Create annual calendar of events, meetings, and special events
Help maintain student council website and through Thrillshare that posts to Facebook
With permissions from Advisors and Principal
Create multimedia resources for fundraisers, spirit weeks, causes/events such as but not limited to:
Videos
Announcements
Posters/Flyers
Answer questions received in the Contact Us Google Form

Maintain budget and finances of goods, including room service, awards, and event rewards
Create fundraising efforts for Student Council and charitable causes such as but not limited to: Toys for Tots, Coats for Kids, etc.
Keep student body informed of events, fundraisers, and service projects
The team conferences with the Principal, Dean, and Student Council Advisors.
Each team member is required to present at least once during the year at a Student Council meeting.
