Using an Anger Control Strategy
1. Identify what is making you angry.
2. Recognize the behaviors that show you are angry.
3. Take a deep breath.
4. Take a few minutes to cool off.
5. Tell yourself to relax.
Avoiding a Fight (ABCDE)
1. Aware that you are getting angry.
2. Be quiet for a minute and BREATHE, take deep breaths.
3. Count between breaths.
4. Distance away from the person, walk away and get help if you need but get some distance.
5. Express yourself when you're calm, suggest a compromise, why you were angry, get help from an adult.
