Step by Step overview of MSJC Application Students who complete the application can then go to the Student Support Hub and speak to a virtual counselor about programs, registering for classes, and financial aid.
Please have the following with you before you start your college applications
Social Security Number
Citizenship Status
Your Parents Citizenship Status
Parent's Annual Income
Unofficial high school transcripts
Unofficial college transcripts (if you have taken a concurrent class at MSJC)
AP test scores
A method of payment for the applications fee if you do not qualify for a fee waiver.
University of California
Use this Tutorial or follow the steps below!
Log into your californiacolleges.edu account with you HUSD gmail
Hover on College at the top of the page
Click on the UC Application under Apply To College
You will be taken to the UC Application to create your account
When prompted, link your accounts
This will help you keep track of where you are at in the process of applying!
California State University
Use this Tutorial or follow the steps below!
Log into your californiacolleges.edu account with you HUSD gmail
Hover on College at the top of the page
Click on the CSU Application under Apply To College
You will be taken to the CSU Application to create your account
When prompted, link your accounts
Your courses will migrate from your HHS transcript into the CSU application saving you time and the possibility of an error
You will still need to enter any colleges courses (Dual or Concurrent Enrollment) you have taken under the college section of the application
Community College (MSJC)
Use this Tutorial or follow the steps below!
Log into your californiacolleges.edu account with you HUSD gmail
Hover on College at the top of the page
Click on the California Community Colleges under Apply To College
Select the CCC campus you want to apply to and click Launch
This will help you keep track of where you are at in the process of applying!

Log into your californiacolleges.edu account with you HUSD gmail
Hover on Financial Aid at the top of the page
Click on the FAFSA under Apply for Financial Aid
If you do not have a social security #, click on CA Dream Act.
Once on the financial aid page click LAUNCH
This will be available to students starting Oct 1st-June 30th
California Dream Act
The California Dream Act application allows undocumented students enrolled in eligible California Colleges, Universities, and Career Education Programs to apply for state financial aid. This application is unrelated to the federal DACA program.
