September is Library Card-Sign-up Month. If you don't have a library card, visit your local library to discover what you've been missing.

Join us for a fun-filled Pi Day celebration at DVMS on Thursday, March 14th! The DVMS Library and Math Department are teaming up to host this exciting event. Swing by the Library between 11:46 AM and 1:46 PM to indulge in a delicious slice of pie or cake while engaging in hands-on activities to explore the wonders of Pi.
One of the highlights of the day will be "The Digits of Pi" Contest open to both students and staff. The rules are straightforward: participants are invited to showcase their Pi knowledge by reciting as many digits as they can.
It promises to be a day filled with learning, fun, and perhaps a bit of friendly competition.
We had a great turnout, scholars were excited to come in and recite their memorized digits. Our staff did an excellent job at participating.

We want to send out a huge congratulations to our 2nd Annual "PI DAY" DVMS Student Winner, Noemi Martinez! She took the title "Master Of Pi 2024" home with a whopping 231 digits of Pi!!

We excited to share two special announcements that promise to add an extra dose of inspiration and wonder to your week. Firstly, in our continuous effort to support your love for reading and learning, we are thrilled to offer you a free book titled "EyeDiscover: Solar Eclipse". This fascinating read will take you on a journey through the science of solar eclipses, enriching your knowledge and sparking your curiosity about the wonders of the universe.
Additionally, in celebration of the upcoming solar eclipse, our library will be hosting a special live broadcast of this celestial event.
We invite you to join us for this remarkable experience, where you'll have the chance to witness the beauty and majesty of the solar eclipse right from the comfort of our library.
The broadcast is scheduled for 10:06Am-12:04PM, during which we will provide a variety of activities, including coloring pages and headbands, all themed around the eclipse, to enrich the overall experience of the event!

Custodians SteveO and Aaron delivered a presentation on Daily Recycling at the school. Did you know that we recycle 20,000 trays each month? That amounts to 1,500 pounds of cardboard monthly! ♻️

This unique celebration is a collaborative effort between our school's librarian and our school parent liaison, and we are honored to announce that we have successfully garnered the support and presence of esteemed guests including the city mayor, a representative from the City of Hemet, members of the cabinet, CR & R waste management, and the public librarian!
Michelle, Kenia, Steve-O & Aaron put on an amazing fun filled community event and PLUS was happy to help with decorating and running some of the booths alongside ASB!
