Targets & Standards

AP Precalculus centers on functions modeling dynamic phenomena. Research indicates that deep understanding of functions and their graphs as embodying dynamic covariation of quantities best supports student preparation for calculus.

Essential Standards

This unit follows the AP Precalculus Course and Exam Description from College Board. Essential state standards are embedded into Unit 1, Unit 2, and Unit 3. This final unit is comprised solely of supporting standards, and time remaining in the school year will dictate the depth at which they are explored.
