Welcome to HELP APP AFRICA, a work marketplace available at www.helpappafrica.com, HELP APP AFRICA is a website is a marketplace that connects Artisans and Customers that require their services. The User accepts that they are entering into a binding contract with PRINCE LANSANA INNOVATIVE TECH LIMITED (hereinafter referred to as “The Company”) The Company is the Technology Company in charge of building and distributing the app “Help App Africa” and is committed to protecting the information of its Users and their customers.
Therefore, PRINCE LANSANA INNOVATIVE TECH LIMITED respects and protects the data of the Users to ensure proper compliance with the Law, by which the right of all persons and other constitutional rights, freedoms and guarantees are developed, as well as the right to information. The User who uses and enjoys Help App Africa must know and accept the following Privacy Policies ("Privacy Policies").
The person who logs in, connects, accesses or uses the Help App Africa Website and Application, recognizes that these conditions constitute a binding and enforceable legal agreement between Help App Africa and the User.
Definitions
Database: Organized set of personal data that is subject to Treatment.
Data Processing (or "Treatment"): Any operation or set of operations on personal data, such as collection, storage, use, circulation or deletion.
Holder: Each of the natural persons acting on their behalf or acting on behalf of a corporation, with whom the personal data is related may be the Users of the Website.

Information you provide: We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you browse or register on the Website or Application, express an interest in obtaining information about us or our Services, when you participate in activities on the Website or otherwise when you contact us. The personal information that we collect depends on the context of your interactions with us and the Website, the choices you make and the Services and features you use. When you sign up on the Website, we collect your name, email address, and password. If you decide to sign up by using your Google account, we collect the information that Google sends to us, such as your name, email address. We use the information to create, maintain and obtain your user account, provide you with the requested Services, contact you (if necessary), and maintain our business records. The legal bases on which we rely are (i) performing our contractual obligations and (ii) pursuing our legitimate business interests (i.e., to administer our business). We store such information until you delete your user account.
Artisan Information.
We run an exhaustive Artisan assessment and vetting process to pick the right Artisans. During the assessment and vetting process, you may be asked to permit us to verify information about you via image and/or video, and this verification will be recorded for internal review purposes only. All images and videos sourced during the vetting process will be stored in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You reserve the right to refuse to be recorded and/or have your image captured. In the event you choose not to have your image captured and/or recorded, in turn we reserve the right to discontinue the vetting process.
Artisan Profiles: at the backend, we create profiles for all Artisans. Your profile will include your image, location, and a summary of your technical experience. Your profile is fully visible to our management team and Customers. It can also be visible to others who access your Artisan profile link to engage Artisans.
Usage: We may choose to collect information about how you use our Service, such as the frequency of the logins, recordings and interactions, the features you use, actions you take and the time and duration of your use.
Communication Data: We may choose to collect information when you contact us with questions or concerns and when you voluntarily respond to requests for your opinion and feedback. When you contact us by email, we collect your name, email address, and any information that you provide us with in your message. We use such information to respond to your enquiry. The legal basis on which we rely is pursuing our legitimate business interests (i.e., to operate and expand our business). We store such information until you stop communicating with us. Please note that all personal information provided to us must be true, complete and accurate, also you are required to notify us of any changes to such personal information.
Payment Data. We may collect data necessary to process your payment if you make purchases, such as your name, billing address, credit card number, and the security code associated with your credit card. The payments are processed and all payment data is stored by….. You may find their privacy notice link(s) here…... We do not have access to your full payment details. The details that are made available to us by our email are your name, email, zip code, and country. The legal bases on which we rely are (i) performing our contractual obligations and (ii) pursuing our legitimate business interests (i.e., to administer our business). We store such information for the time period required by the law.
Social Media Data: We have pages on social media sites like Instagram, Facebook, Medium, Twitter and LinkedIn (“Social Media Pages”). When you interact with our social media Pages, we will collect Personal Data that you elect to provide to us, such as your contact details. In addition, the companies that host our social media Pages may provide us with aggregate information and analytics regarding the use of our social media Pages.
Internet Activity Data: When you visit, use, and interact with our Service, we may receive certain information about your visit, use, or interactions. For example, we may monitor the number of people that visit the Service, peak hours of visits, which page(s) are visited, the domains our visitors come from (e.g., google.com, yahoo.com, etc.), and which browsers people use to access the Service (e.g., Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Internet Explorer, etc.), broad geographical information, and navigation patterns. In particular, the following information is created and automatically logged in our systems:

Cookies and Local Storage information
By accessing or using the Website, Help App Africa can use technologies such as "cookies" (or similar technologies) which stores certain information on the User's computer ("Local Storage"). These technologies allow automatic activation of certain features and better use of the service. “Cookies” are small text files containing a string of characters that can be placed on your computer or mobile device that uniquely identifies your browser or device.
The cookies used in the service are created per session, does not include any information about the User, except the session password, which is removed at the end of the session in the Website (usually after 24 hours). Help App Africa can use certain third-party cookies each time the User visits the Website or when visiting other websites that use similar cookies without fluctuating the Service of the Website. The third-party cookies are stored only as Non-Personal Information, such as history of websites visited, and duration of browsing, etc.
Online Tracking and Do Not Track Signals: We and our third-party service providers may use cookies, pixels, or other tracking technologies to collect information about your browsing activities over time and across different websites following your use of the Site and use that information to send targeted advertisements. We make reasonable commercial efforts to recognize and support “Do Not Track” signals.
FEEDBACK
When our user’s customers leave feedback or complaint, we collect your name, email, title, company, link, address and any other customized information that our Users choose to request you to submit. We process such information to provide our Users with the requested services (i.e., record, make available, and manage your audio recording). The legal basis on which we rely is performing a contract with our User. We store such information until you delete your audio recording or our User deletes your audio feedback.
OUR ROLE AS A DATA CONTROLLER AND DATA PROCESSOR.
We act in the capacity of a data controller and a data processor with regards to the personal data processed through the Website and the Services in terms of the applicable data protection laws, including the Nigerian Data Protection Act and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Our role depends on the specific situation in which personal data is handled by us, as explained in detail below:
Data controller: We are responsible for the collection of your personal data through the website and the Services and their further use. We make decisions about the types of personal data that should be collected from you and purposes for which such personal data should be used.
