Would you like to contribute to the safety in the DC?
Last period we worked hard behind the scenes to improve our BHV-organisation. And now it’s time to share an update and our vacancies for the BHV-team with all of you!
Let's start at the beginning: why is it important to have a well-trained BHV-organisation?
The goal of a BHV-organisation is to minimize consequences of an incident as much as possible. This will increase the safety of all our employees and will protect our operations.
BHV-team
The picture shows the structure of our new BHV-team. You can see a change from how the current BHV-team is structured. Namely, we are making a split between BHV and BHV+EHBO. And a split in the duties of the Head of BHV by introducing a Operational Head of BHV.
BHV
During an evacuation, we need many employees who can guide everyone out of the DC safely. This is why we will train a large group of BHV’ers, who will only be deployed during an evacuation.
BHV+EHBO
In addition, we will be training a smaller group of BHV+EHBO’ers who can also provide first aid and extinguish a small starting fire, next to guiding an evacuation.
For this select group we are looking for employees! Would you like to contribute to safety within the DC? Click HERE for more information and apply via the link in the vacancy.
HEAD OF BHV & OPERATIONAL HEAD OF BHV
We made split in the duties of the Head of BHV and introduced an Operational Head of BHV. We are urgently looking for both Heads to lead and organize the BHV-team
The Operational (OPS) Head of BHV wil take charge during an incident and lead the BHV-team.
The Head of BHV who will be making sure, behind the scenes, that everything is in order so that the trained BHV-team can perform at their best.
