Greetings! This will be my 14th year working at Hellgate Elementary, and I am looking forward to a great year. 

I grew up in Missoula, earned my B.A. in Elementary Education from the University of Montana in 2008, and earned my M.S. in Elementary Reading and Mathematics Instruction from Walden University in March of 2020. After finishing undergrad, I lived in Spokane Valley, WA, working with foster kids at a children’s home. Over my time there, I lived with and took care of 26 girls. I loved baking cookies, planning fun activities, and being part of their life. During my last year there, I also served as the resident teacher and ran a tutoring program for the kids at the children's home. While in Spokane, I started training for half marathons and enjoy running in my free time. I have a 1 year old Australian Shepherd named Benson who loves being outside and running around. 

I am thrilled to be back in Missoula and to continue this incredible adventure in 5th grade at Hellgate Elementary. I look forward to getting to know each of my students and teaching them during this unique and exciting time of their lives!
