All work turned in on time has the potential of earning 100%. Each school day an assignment is late, 10% will be deducted from the overall score. For example, if an assignment is due on a Tuesday and a student turns it in on Wednesday, the highest possible grade the student can earn is a 90%. If a student turns in that assignment the next Monday, the highest possible grade the student can earn is a 60%, as weekends and holidays do not count toward the late policy. Make sure, however, to turn in assignments—even if they are late. A lower grade is better than a zero.
Please talk to me if you have any questions about the policies or your grade in our class.
