Snack

In our classroom we do one snack a day. I ask that at the start of the month families send in one bulk snack to share with the class. Throughout the month I will distribute the snack to the class. We have 20 students in our class. Reminder! We are a nut free school! Please send in a snack that is nut free! Thank you!

Birthday

We are so excited to celebrate your student! If you would like on your student's birthday you may send in a store bought birthday treat! Thank you!

Your student will be celebrated throughout the day by being the star student and receiving a small gift from me!

Star Student Day

Once a month I will send home a Calendar! On this Calendar it will assign one day a month to your student! On that day they are the Star! In class they they will be my helper and have different jobs throughout the day! The student will also get to bring a show and share! Each month there is a theme, be sure to check the calendar to find the theme!

Scholastic Book Order

Each month I will send home a book order! This is OPTIONAL! It is just if you are looking to build your at home Library! The class code will be included in our monthly class letter in the Green Thursday Folder.

PAX Good Behavior Game

In our classroom we use PAX Good Behavior Game! This evidence-based practice that consists of researched based strategies used in our classroom's daily routines. The strategies include carrying out tasks such as getting students’ attention, selecting students for tasks, transitioning from one task to the next, working as part of a team, limiting problematic behavior, and reinforcing pro-social behavior.

Thurday Folder

I will send home a green folder each Thursday. Please take a moment to look through the things inside! The items on the left is the information from me. Please look through it and keep it to refure to throughout the month. If it is something that needs to be signed and returned you can send it back to me in the green folder. The right side will have all of your students papers and projects they have been working hard on! You get to keep those at home! Please send empty folder (unless there is a paper you are returning to me) back to school on Friday!
