Welcome to Practical Arts for 5th & 6th grades! In Practical Arts we will learn how to:
1.) Use hand tools such as: 

• 1. Measuring Tools (Measuring tape, ruler, square, etc.)

  2. Fastening Tools (Screwdrivers, screws, nails, nuts & bolts, etc.)

  3. Cutting Tools (Saws)

  4. Striking Tools (Hammers)

  5. Holding Tools (Clamps)

  6. Safety Tools

• 2.) Learn how to plan and problem-solve while following blueprints or step-by-step instructions.
  3.) Application of finishes including paint, stain, polyurethane, and several other types of finishes.
