Tiffany Gardanier

I have a passion for helping students reach their full potential and creating a library where every student feels welcome, inspired, and excited to learn. I love helping students discover books they enjoy and develop a lifelong love of reading.

My greatest passions are my faith and my family. All four of my children attended Hellgate Elementary, so this school holds a very special place in my heart. I love spending time with my husband, our four children, and my daughter-in-law. I also enjoy hiking, skiing, and traveling.

I’m excited to continue serving the students at Hellgate and helping each of them on their reading journey!

Deb Westrom

I have been at Hellgate over 25 years.  I taught 6th grade before I became a librarian in 2010.

I love to read and talk about books.  Surprisingly, my favorite thing to teach though is math.

When I am not at school, I enjoy walking, spending time with my family at our cabin, reading and munching on chocolate.

Desiree Powers

I’m excited to be joining Hellgate Elementary as the K–3 Librarian! I’ve been part of the Hellgate community for several years as a substitute teacher, and I’m especially grateful to now serve our students in this new role. I have a degree in Early Childhood Education and love creating fun, welcoming spaces where children can learn, explore, and develop a love of reading. I’m also a proud Hellgate mom to two daughters. Outside of school, I enjoy baking with my girls and exploring the outdoors with my family.
