My name is Mylin Schaaff and I'm club president. I've always enjoyed art since I was little and hope to possibly seek out a career related to art. I find beauty in the little things and want to share them with others. I want to teach others to create and express themselves. While further improving my skills. 

Hi my name is Laila and the reason why I joined to art club is because I love art like anything that is related with it. I also enjoy being a part of something that I love, and art brings me joy. I love to express myself and I am excited to do my best and give all my heart to it.  

I wanted to join art club for the opportunity to build my leadership skills as vice president! Before joining I knew there was more I could do since I had more free time on my hands now that I am a senior, I took the opportunity as soon as it was given to me and I'm glad I chose to take it since I get to work with an  incredible team. I am willing to do whatever is needed when a situation becomes present.  

Hello, my name is Mia Turpin and I am glad to be joining Art Club as the treasurer this year! I've enjoyed creating art ever since I was little and I've attended a mix of art clubs and classes throughout elementary school and middle school. At the La Mesa Arts Academy, I was in the Master's Art program and I hope to continue my art journey through this club at Helix. I'm excited to get to know people here and influence the community through the art we plan on doing at events and during our Friday club meetings! Don't forget to always stay creative!
