DipDo is developed and operated by Hefty Brains Interactives Private Limited.

DipDo is designed as a privacy-focused bill splitting application. Bill information and related app data are primarily processed and stored locally on your device.

Information You Provide

When using DipDo, you may enter or create information such as:

• Participant names

• Bill items and amounts

• Payment amounts used for calculating settlements

• Favourite people

• Bill history

• Images of bills or receipts used for scanning

This information is used to provide DipDo's bill splitting, settlement and related features.

Bill Scanning and OCR

When you choose to scan a bill, DipDo may access your device camera or bill images selected by you.

Text recognition and bill extraction are performed on-device.

DipDo does not upload scanned bill images, extracted bill contents, participant information or bill history to servers operated by Hefty Brains Interactives Private Limited.

Local Storage

DipDo stores information such as bill history, favourite people, app preferences and related app data locally on your device.

DipDo does not currently provide a DipDo cloud account or cloud backup service.

Deleting the app or clearing its application data may permanently remove information stored by DipDo on that device.

Accounts and Sign-In

DipDo does not require you to create an account or sign in to use the app.

DipDo Plus and Google Play Billing

DipDo may offer an optional paid subscription called DipDo Plus.

Subscriptions and payments are processed by Google Play.

Hefty Brains Interactives Private Limited does not receive or store your full payment card or banking details.

DipDo receives limited purchase and subscription information from Google Play where necessary to determine whether DipDo Plus features should be available.

DipDo does not persist Google Play purchase tokens as part of its normal local app data.

Google's handling of payment and Google account information is governed by Google's own privacy policies and terms.

Advertising

The free version of DipDo may display advertisements.

DipDo may use Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) or related Google advertising services to provide these advertisements.

Advertising services may automatically process information such as:

• IP address, which may be used to estimate general location

• Device and advertising identifiers, where available

• App and advertisement interactions

• Diagnostic and performance information

• Information used for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention

Depending on your location, device settings and consent choices, advertisements may be personalised or non-personalised.

Where required by applicable law or Google advertising policies, DipDo may ask for consent or provide privacy choices before certain advertising technologies are used.

DipDo does not intentionally provide scanned receipts, extracted bill contents, participant names, favourite people, settlement details or bill history to advertising providers for advertising purposes.

Sharing

DipDo may allow you to share bill summaries or settlement information using applications installed on your device.

When you choose to share information, it is passed to the application or service selected by you through Android's sharing functionality.

Hefty Brains Interactives Private Limited does not control how the receiving application handles information that you choose to share.

Device Permissions

Depending on the features you use, DipDo may request access to features such as your camera or selected images for bill scanning.

DipDo does not require access to:

• Your contacts

• Your precise location

• Your SMS messages

• Your call history

• Your passwords

• Your bank account credentials

Children's Privacy

DipDo is not specifically designed or directed toward children.

We do not knowingly operate DipDo for the purpose of collecting personal information from children.

Data Security

We take reasonable measures to design DipDo so that bill information and other locally stored data remain on the user's device wherever possible.

Information transmitted to third-party services such as Google Play or advertising services is handled according to those providers' security and privacy practices.

No electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Third-Party Services

DipDo may use third-party services necessary to provide app functionality, subscriptions and advertising, including:

• Google Play Services

• Google Play Billing

• Google Mobile Ads / AdMob

These third-party services may process information according to their own privacy policies and terms.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when DipDo's features, technology, third-party services or legal requirements change.

The latest version will always be published on this page together with its effective date.
