Bianca Johnson
Proud Principal of Hurst Junior High School
Howdy! I'm a proud Texas A&M Aggie and even prouder to serve as principal of Hurst Junior High. I’m entering my 17th year in education, all spent serving the best grade levels: middle and junior high. These years matter most, not because they’re easy, but because they’re transformative. It’s a privilege to walk alongside students as they discover who they are and grow into who they’re becoming.
I began my career teaching 8th Grade Math and Algebra, then moved into leadership in Irving ISD before joining the incredible team here in HEB. As a Katy ISD graduate, I’m a proud product and passionate advocate of public education. I believe in its power to open doors and help students build the future they choose.
Outside of school, I’m a proud aunt, avid reader, and loyal fan of the Dallas Mavericks (yes, still recovering from the Luka trade), the New Orleans Saints, and my Fightin’ Texas Aggies. But no team gets me more rowdy, loud, and proud than my Hurst Red Raiders!
When we say Hurst is First, it’s not just a mindset instead it’s how we move. We show up ready to work hard, learn loud, and be proud. Our students deserve our very best, every moment, every day, no matter what.
