Dear Parents and Guardians,
I’m so excited to welcome you and your child to a new school year! Teaching Spanish is my passion, and I love creating opportunities for students to grow in language skills while exploring the rich and diverse cultures of the Spanish-speaking world. I believe in building a classroom community where students feel encouraged, supported, and inspired to achieve their very best.
I have been teaching for 17 years. I was born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico. I hold a bachelor’s degree from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras Campus, and a master’s degree in Early Childhood and Spanish K–12 Education from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. After spending 10 years in Michigan, I am happy to now call sunny Texas home—though I miss the ocean of my island with all my heart. This is my second year at Trinity, where I am honored to serve as the sponsor of the Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica, and I am excited to continue being part of the Trojan family for this new school year.
