Welcome to Trinity High School's Science Room S216! Here we will 'Explore Beyond Our Boundaries' together while learning about how life on earth interacts. We will explore through class discussions, research, projects, and labs. In room S216, you need an open mind that is ready to develop skills to become a life long learner. You might even realize that you contain an interest in the natural world around you.

So, who is Mrs. Morriss? First and foremost, I am a Trinity alumnus. 'Once a Trojan, Always a Trojan.' I can honestly say that Trinity set me on a path for a success beyond my wildest dreams. I also gained an awareness of the culture and communities that make our area unique. While here as a student, I was a student athletic trainer and was part of the senior class counsel. After graduation, I attended Howard Payne University where I earned a Bachelors of Science with a major in Biology and Exercise Sports Science. While at Howard Payne, I continued working as an athletic trainer and upon graduation earned my Texas Athletic Trainers Licenses.

I finally made my way back to Trinity High School for the 2020-2021 school year; whew what a year. Before that I taught for 19 years at Sam Houston High School in Arlington and two years at Keller High School.  I have gotten to teach just about everything under the life science umbrella: on-level biology, honors biology, Advanced Placement Biology, forensics, anatomy and physiology, AVID, on-level environmental systems, and IB Biology and Environmental Systems and Societies.
