I am Anne-Marie Keith and I have been teaching Spanish and French at Hurst Junior High since 2012. I am entering my 22nd year as a foreign language teacher. I firmly believe that all students can learn with the right support and encouragement.

My mission as a teacher goes way beyond helping my students to fulfill their learning goals in class. I want to inspire them to believe in themselves and understand that what they learn can have lasting, positive consequences. I want my students to learn to set goals and work towards achieving them, never giving up despite obstacles or setbacks that they may encounter. I want them to believe that their learning should not end with high school graduation. Finally, I want my students to realize the value of knowledge and commit to becoming life-long learners.
