Jyoti Hodges  

8th Grade Math Teacher

Hello! I am Mrs. Hodges and I teach 8th grade on level. While this is my 8th year teaching at HJH, it is my 13th year teaching in HEB ISD. I graduated from Trinity High School and went to college at Texas Woman's University. 

My husband and I have two boys: Jude, who is 16 years old, Wynton, who is 6 years old, and Norah, who is less than a year old. I love to read, watch movies, and talk about food. I am a big Harry Potter fan! I am Indian so Gujurati is my first language while English is my second. 

I love teaching math and discovering/implementing different activities to help students learn concepts.
