Visible learning uses evidence-based, high-effect strategies to help students better achieve learning goals. Visible Learning helps teachers find new, more effective ways to teach by using technologies and innovative techniques. It is essential that teachers use these techniques to ensure good student outcomes. Visible Learning encourages teachers to assess the progress of their students and continuously refine their teaching practices in order to maximize learning potential.

Dimension 1.2 | Data and Assessment
The teacher uses formal and informal methods to measure student progress, then manages and analyzes student data to inform instruction.
Dimension 2.2 | Content Knowledge and Expertise
The teacher uses content and pedagogical expertise to design and execute lessons aligned with state standards, related content and student needs.
Dimension 2.5 | Monitor and Adjust
The teacher formally and informally collects, analyzes and uses student progress data and makes needed lesson adjustments.

The teacher demonstrates leadership with students, colleagues, and community members in the school, district and community through effective communication and outreach.
