IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

HEB ISD operates under a Zero Trust security model, which means:

• • Nothing is automatically trusted—even inside the district network

  • Every user, device, and tool must be verified before access is granted

  • Access is limited to only what is necessary to protect student and staff data

As part of this model:

• • Any technology that requires students or staff to input information or create an account must be submitted for approval through the Technology Approval Process in Laserfiche before use

  • The review process may take up to 10 days, so please plan accordingly and have a backup option

This process ensures all tools meet district requirements for security, compliance, and compatibility. If you are currently using unapproved tools, please submit them for review as soon as possible.
