HEB ISD and Harwood Junior High are committed to providing an unbiased cheerleading and mascot tryout experience across the district. Tryouts for all secondary schools will take place on the same day at the same location at each schools allotted time. 

Cheerleading candidates will perform a tryout dance and cheer, as well as a series of jumps and any tumbling they have. Mascot candidates will perform a 1--2 minute skit in the mascot suit. 

Junior High Cheerleading/Mascot is open to CURRENT 6th and 7th graders (incoming 7th and 8th graders) enrolled at their respective campus. *For more information regarding Harwood Cheer Tryouts, email Coach Henderson at MeganHenderson@hebisd.edu.
