Hello Students and Families,

Welcome to a new school year of 8th Grade English at Euless Junior High School 2024-2025.

Over 25 years of educational experience brings me to my 11th year at Euless Junior High School.  Previously,  I taught 8th Grade  English and AP English at International Leadership of Texas (ILT).  Prior to ILT,  I spent years in administration in Fort Worth and  Hurst Euless Bedford  Independent Schools.   Additionally,  I taught  reading and English in grades 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th in Murfreesboro, Tennessee  and St. Louis, Missouri.

I have two delightful daughters, both graduates of  L. D. Bell High School.  My  ten old grandbaby Lyric, and two year old grandson, Quenton Jr.  keep me very busy.  Lyric is curious and loves to read mystery and science adventures.  The Bedford Library is her second home when she comes to visit.  Quenton Jr. is  running,  climbing and enjoys learning with his favorite shows:  "Mrs. Rachel" and  "Gracie's Corner."  I am also excited about a newest  addition to the family,  Little Nia.   Nia is 1 year old  and scuttling as fast as lightening on the floor.  Walking is definitely just around the corner.
