EJH Advanced Social Studies classes in US History for in-coming 8th graders are provided with an opportunity for students to “get ahead” in the next school year. However, this assignment is NOT MANDATORY.
1. The assignment’s intent is to let those who want to get ahead to have the summer to do this.
2. The assignment will also be offered to ALL students on the first day of class and be given a reasonable due date.
3. Those who do the “assignment” will NOT receive extra credit or a grade for working on items over the Summer.
4. The assignment may be found on the EJH Website under Euless Jr. High News on the right side of the screen, on the District webpage under Advanced Academics or directly below. Just scroll down to the bottom of this page. There is a google document or a Word document. (9th graders may go to Mr. Archey's website or the District webpage)

Biography
Hello 8th grade U.S. History Students and Parents. I'm so excited about starting my 20th year here at EJH and my 32nd year in the teaching profession. I received my bachelor's degree from Oklahoma Baptist University. My husband, Mark and I have been married for 35 years, and we have two children. Our daughter Jordan is a 5th grade teacher at Washington Elementary in Norman, Oklahoma, and our son John Mark is a music worship pastor in Colleyville. I grew up in Oklahoma, so I'm a big fan of OU football! BOOMER SOONER!
