Mrs. Bemrick
Welcome to English III and IV!
This is my nineteenth year as an educator, and this is my third year at Keys High School. I received my Bachelor Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas State University- San Marcos and my Master of Education with my Principal's Certification from the University of Texas at Arlington. I grew up in H-E-B I.S.D. attending Bedford Heights Elementary, Bedford Junior High, and L.D. Bell High School. It is a privilege to influence and encourage students to become lifelong learners.
My English classes will focus on building a community of readers and writers. Every student will aim to increase vocabulary, stamina, grammar skills, and fluency through a variety of genres. The literature selections will also serve as mentor text for the students and their writing.
