It is my honor to follow in the footsteps of the great KEYS Principals who have gone before me. My goal is to in turn leave a legacy of excellence at KEYS and lead the staff and students to even greater heights. It will be our honor to lead, stretch, mold, and challenge your student. When your student graduates, and is prepared to compete in and contribute to this world positively, the hard work will all have been worth it. In advance, I thank you for patiently allowing us to teach, correct and train your student in the positive ways they should go.
I am so thankful to be in my 31st year in HEB ISD. I am most thankful to have a great wife, two daughters, and a son-in-law. All of us are proud HEB Alumni. I am a former enlisted Marine and Navy officer. I received my Bachelor's Degree from The University of Texas and my Master's Degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Finally, if I can be of any help to you, please feel free to contact me.
The "THREE A's" of KEYS -
Attendance - YOU must be at school everyday to succeed! The state law regarding attendance applies at KEYS as well as all traditional schools.
Achievement - YOU must accelerate and meet all your GOALS in all your classes. At KEYS when you take homework to complete at home, you are accelerating! Turn in all your assigned work; be serious about your classes; ask for homework; stay for tutorials.
Attitude - Follow the rules. Be positive! Be respectful! Follow the rules and abide by the Student Code of Conduct! That includes discipline, dress code, and cell phone policies.
