The Symphonic Band, under the direction of Mr. Hernandez, is the second performing band and is comprised of mostly 8th and 9th grade students. The Symphonic Band is required by Texas UIL regulations to play Grade I and II music off of the TMEA prescribed music list. Students in this band are encouraged to participate in Solo & Ensemble contest as well as other district competitions.
Performances include: three football games, pep rallies, a Fall Concert, Winter Concert, Spring Concert, Solo & Ensemble contest, and UIL competition.
