There is always room for improvement. If you can review your notes each day for about 5 minutes, rewrite them with color, write a summery of what you learned each day, and quiz yourself over your vocabulary words. This will prove to be a better way of studying rather than cramming the night before!!! Watch YouTube videos such as Crash Course, Amoeba Sisters, Bozeman, and/or Khan Academy as a resource. Read the chapter(s) that you are having trouble with and answer questions at the end of the chapter. Come in for a quick tutorial and go over the answers to make sure you have answered it correctly. You can also use Quizlet to help you go over the vocabulary.

In 2017, the Biology Department wrote a grant and received $2,500 for MiniOne™ Electrophoresis System. This system delivers hands-on electrophoresis experience with real-time feedback to students within a 45-minute class session. The system combines electrophoresis running and viewing of DNA agarose gel into one compact package that is easy and safe to use. Students can make and load gels, view DNA bands separating, and take pictures from their mobile device for their homework or to show their parents.
