About Me
Ashlyn Bailey is in her first year of teaching in HEB ISD. She graduated from Texas Christian University in May 2026 with a Bachelor of Music Education degree. During her time at TCU, Ms. Bailey’s performance experiences included the TCU Symphony Orchestra, Wind Symphony, Horned Frog Marching Band, Steel Band, PASIC Bass Ensemble, PASIC Chamber Ensemble, and the PASIC Champion TCU Percussion Orchestra.
Ms. Bailey studied percussion with Dr. Brian A. West, Dr. Richard Gipson, Jeff Hodge, and Joey Carter, among others. Her teaching experience includes positions in Aledo, Springtown, and HEB ISDs.
Ms. Bailey student taught in HEB ISD in 2026, where she worked with percussion students across the district. She assisted with percussion rehearsals and instruction at both the junior high and high school levels, gaining experience in ensemble rehearsals, sectionals, and individual instruction.
Ms. Bailey is an active member of the Texas Music Educators Association and the Percussive Arts Society.
