Class Participation and Attendance

Students are expected to be logged in to the Google meet at 8:38 every day. Frequently there will be times to work independently with an expectation that the students rejoin the meeting later in the class period. In order to earn daily participation points, students must actively engage in the class. If a student must miss class, participation can be made up by viewing videos, taking notes, and completing activities.

Assignments

-There will be 1 or 2 assignments most days, each worth 10 points.

-Assignments not completed in class are due by 10 pm the next school day.

-Low scores can be corrected and resubmitted if needed.

-Late work will be accepted with a deduction in score. If it is turned in before the associated quiz it is 1 point off, if it is after the quiz it is 2 points off.

Assessments

-There will be 1 or 2 quizzes each week. The point value for each will be equal to the assignment points for the same material.

-The semester exam will be over the material covered in the first 7 weeks.
